Hi, I’m Rita! I’m an undergraduate at the University of Michigan double-majoring in Honors Math & Data Science. I'm passionate about building privacy-preserving machine learning systems for healthcare — it's a field that blends my love for math with relevant problems and real data. I strongly believe that differential privacy is about respect for human dignity: the future of AI is not just about building bigger and smarter models, but creating systems we can actually use to improve quality of life. To me, that means AI in healthcare, and that means privacy in AI.
